We are a woman-owned local small business in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Started in 2022 by Eve Rogers, our goal has always been about filling a need in the community for a fair and personal process to handle inherited estates and large assortments of personal items.
The idea of estate sales are certainly enticing to family members overwhelmed with a lifetime's worth of stuff to disperse, but often these estate sales end up with items being sold for far less than they are valued, so we wanted to come up with an estate sale alternative - the philosophy here is that these things were once very important to someone and should be treated as such. We go through every item and make sure that we have a current and fair valuation, and sell it at or around that price.
Our primary goal is not to get rid of items immediately, it is to make sure that you receive the value you deserve. Our no-up-front-cost business plan allows us to work with community members who may not have the means to use traditional services, and presents an opportunity for a "big picture" benefit that can far outweigh the benefit of an immediate "get this out of here" type of consolidation service, whether that be an estate sale, yard sale, or even bulk donation.
in short; we charge zero up-front costs.
to be more specific, we will do a free consultation to assess your lot, and then if we feel we are a good fit, we get our tried-and-true system working. You have no up-front costs, and will never pay anything out of pocket except in the case of an early cancellation. Our payment comes only when we make sales; we deduct expenses (generally shipping & processing fees), and we get a percentage of each sale made. We only make money if we make YOU money.
The first step is contacting us for a free consultation. We will have a chat and discuss your goals, what you have, and what you would like done. If we mutually feel we are a good fit, we will come retrieve your items and take them to our office.
There, we will begin our process of meticulously cataloguing each item, photographing them, packaging them up for storage, and preparing them for listing. This includes researching each item to assess its value, from every figurine, purse, baseball, cassette tape, doodad and doohickey, all the way to large items like televisions, phonographs, and suits of armor.
Once we have catalogued all your items, assessed their value, photographed them, and organized them for storage, we begin listing them on our suite of online retailers, including Amazon, Etsy, eBay, and more. For larger items, we also have an array of local-sales techniques that we use.
The next step is the less exciting part; we wait. Well, more specifically, you do - we continue listing, communicate with possible buyers, and take care of all the little steps involved in retail. Some items sell immediately, and some take quite some time. I have sometimes had items bought within minutes of me uploading them, and other times something will sit for a year or more while we wait for its perfect person to discover it waiting for them. Sometimes, strangely enough, something will sit for a year or more and suddenly there are 3 or 4 people interested in it. It can be unpredictable, especially when dealing with such an array of items.
The wait may be long, or it may be short, but each month we will send you your profit, along with a statement detailing what's sold, what's left, and any relevant updates. We try to do our best to make sure the process is as stress-free as possible for you.

We like to think this is a service that can benefit anyone! Anything as small as those boxes of things in the attic you've put off sorting through, to a storage unit that you've all but abandoned, all the way to your estranged 3rd uncle twice removed leaving you all of his 5 castles and their contents. We want to help with it all. Drop us a line today and see if we can help your chaos!
